Matt Pittman counsels businesses of all kinds and from regions across the United States concerning complex civil litigation.
Matt’s representations include all manner of complex civil litigation, including oil and gas contractual disputes, medical trade secret protection, defense of intellectual property rights for manufacturers, legal malpractice and breach of fiduciary duty litigation, pharmaceutical class-action defense, and arbitrations concerning telecommunications consumer class-action defense and credit management service providers against class-action claims of statutory violations.
In 2005, Matt began his career as an associate in the Dallas office of Baker Botts LLP. Matt joined Loewinsohn Flegle Deary in 2011.

Education:
Matt earned a B.A. in Political Science from Duke University in 2000, and a J.D. from Stanford Law School in 2005. Matt served as the Executive Editor for the Stanford Environmental Law Journal and prior to law school, he served as a Kindergarten instructor in Greenville, MS through Teach for America.
