Rising Stars announced for 2009
Congratulations to our four attorneys who were recently named to the 2009 "Texas Rising Stars" list and are included in Texas Rising Stars magazine: Wilson E. Wray, Michael B. Hopkins and Nadine Slovak.
The "Rising Stars" nomination/selection process involves asking lawyers who have been named "Super Lawyers" to nominate the best attorneys who are 40 or under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less, in their respective state/region. They are instructed to vote for lawyers they have personally observed in action—whether as opposing counsel or co-counsel, or through other first-hand courtroom observation.
The final list of "Rising Stars" is a comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys, representing a wide range of practice areas, firm sizes and geographic locations. The "Rising Stars" selection process is designed to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement and only 2.5 percent of eligible attorneys in the state/region receive this honor each year.
